Restaurants in New York post their inspection grade in the window. We post ours. This placard is graded from a public inspection anyone can re-run, dated, and refreshed every day. The organization is the patient; these are the vitals.

How the grade is set: A+ means an A+ from Qualys SSL Labs, TLS 1.3 with legacy protocols off, no known vulnerabilities, a valid auto-renewing certificate, strict transport security, plain http:// redirected, and all six security headers present. Miss one and the grade drops, in public. The inspection is re-run daily and the certificate is watched every morning.
